About the Role:
Elite Dermatology PLLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Fulshear, TX! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside top dermatology providers in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment where your skills truly make a difference.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and document chief complaints, and medical histories
- Assist providers during dermatological procedures, biopsies, and cosmetic treatments
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and supply stocking
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the supervising provider
- Manage patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Accurately document patient information and updates within the EMR system
- Educate patients on treatment plans, skincare regimens, and post-procedure care
Requirements:
- Prior experience in dermatology, or a clinical setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and clinical documentation
- Knowledge of dermatology procedures, skin conditions, and skincare products a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume clinic environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
