About the Role:
Elite Dermatology PLLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our growing team at our Bridgeland location in Cypress, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and document chief complaints, medical histories, and vital signs accurately in the EMR
- Assist dermatology providers during skin exams, biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and stocking of supplies
- Administer medications, injections, and topical treatments as directed by the provider
- Educate patients on post-procedure care, and prescribed treatments
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
Requirements:
- Prior experience in dermatology or a specialty clinic strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation
- Knowledge of dermatology procedures, terminology, and skincare products is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume clinical setting
- Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
