About the Role:
Elite Dermatology PLLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team at our Town & Country location in Houston, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside top dermatology professionals in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment where your skills truly make a difference.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients, obtain medical histories, and document chief complaints in the EMR system
- Assist dermatologists and providers during skin exams, biopsies, and cosmetic procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and supply stocking
- Administer medications, injections, and topical treatments as directed by the provider
- Educate patients on skincare regimens, treatment plans, and post-procedure care instructions
- Manage patient flow and support front-to-back office communication for a seamless experience
Requirements:
- Prior experience in dermatology, medical aesthetics, or a clinical setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume clinical environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
